Groom—Warrington
At the Park-road Methodist Church, Rushden, on Saturday, the Rev. Frederick John officiated tor the wedding of Miss Evelyn Ruth Warrington, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Warrington, of Avenue Cottage, Court-avenue, Rushden, to Mr. Harold Victor Groom, third son of Mr. and Mrs. W. Groom, of 22, Queens-square Luton, Beds.

Given away by her father, the bride wore white velvet, with a veil and headdress of orange blossom, carried a velvet muff and a spray of white Camelias. She was attended by her sisters, the Misses Edith and Dorothy Warrington, who wore blue taffeta with silver headdresses and shoes, and blue mittens. They carried posies of violets and pink carnations, and wore turquoise necklets, gifts from the bridegroom.

A reception was afterwards held at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Groom will in future reside at 178 Baker-street, Luton.
