MARRIAGE—The marriage of Miss Georgina Wagstaffe, of Rushden, to Mr. Samuel Finding, of Hull, was celebrated at Letchborough. Church, on Monday, August 25th. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. C. W. Browning, rector of Letchborough, the church being crowded with people. The bride was given away by her brother, Mr. C. L. Wagstaffe. The bridesmaids were Miss L. Finding (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Maggie Wagstaffe, and Miss Dorothy Wagstaffe (nieces of the bride). The bride was attired in a pearl grey costume, and the bridesmaids in white. On the bride entering the church, the hymn "The voice that breathed o'er Eden," was sung by the choir, and during the service Psalm 128, and the hymns "How welcome was the call" were sung. Mrs. Browning presided at the organ, and played the "Wedding March" at the conclusion of the ceremony. On the bridal party leaving the church they were plentifully showered with rice by the villagers. Later in the day the happy pair left for Hull (Yorkshire), where the honeymoon will be spent. The wedding presents were numerous and costly.
