“The Aberdeen Daily News” (South Dakota, U.S.A.) of May 18^th says:-

“Walter Ette and Miss Vinnie Skinner were married last evening at 8.30 at the Harry Ekins residence on Ninth-avenue-southeast, by the Rev. R. E. Bayes of the First Congregational Church of Wagner. The ceremony was a quiet affair, only a few of the immediate firends and relatives of the contracting parties being present.

“Mr. Ette has been in this city for several years, and is at present a clerk in the Salisbury book store. The bride came cover from England three weeks ago for the event, the young couple having formed their acquaintance in England. In the fall of 1910 Mr. Ette went to England, returning the next spring. Both young people are highly estimable and have made a large circle of friends and acquaintances here who wish them every happiness. Rev. Mr. Bayes is a cousin of the bride.”

Both bride and bridegroom belong to Rushden and form part of the colony of Rushdenites now settled in Aberdeen. The bride is the daughter of Mr. J. King Skinner, of Queen-street, Rushden, the conductor of the Higham Ferrers Town Band.
