Rushden Echo, January 18th 1924, transcribed by Kay Collins
Drage – Thompson

The wedding took place on Saturday at the High-street Independent Wesleyan Church, Rushden, of Miss Edith Frances Thompson, second daughter of Mr and the late Mrs W Thompson, of 67 Duck-street, Rushden, to Mr Albert Charles Drage, youngest son of Mr and Mrs Drage, Stanley Villa, Bozeat. The Rev. C J Keeler performed the ceremony. Given away by Mr E Parker, the bride was prettily dressed in a beaver costume with hat to match, and she carried a bouquet of lilies and pink carnations. Her bridesmaids were Miss Lily Thompson (sister of the bride) and Miss Bessy Blundell (niece of the bridegroom). Each wore navy costume, with hat to match, and they wore gold brooches, the gifts of the bridegroom. Mr Warren Drage carried out the duties of best man.

Later the happy couple departed for Bozeat, where they will live.
