THE MARRIAGE took place at the Independent Wesleyan Church, Rushden, on Monday, the Rev. C. J. Keeler officiating, of Miss Frances Olive Hodgkins, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Hodgkins, of 67, Queen-street, Rushden, to Driver Wm. Joseph Coles, of the Motor Transport, youngest son of Mr. J. Coles, of Lavendon.  The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a fashionable tailor-made fawn costume with velour hat to match.  She carried a choice sheaf of white lilies, carnations, and chrysanthemums, the gift of the bridegroom, and wore a gold brooch, also his gift.  She was attended by her sister, Miss Hilda Hodgkins, who wore a smart tailor-made costume of rainproof cloth, with black plush hat underlined with pale blue.  The bridesmaid also wore a spray of pink carnations with roses, and a gold pendant, the gift of the bridegroom.  After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home.  Driver and Mrs. Coles were the recipients to a large number of handsome and useful presents.  The duties of best man were ably discharged by Mr. Ernest Haddon.
