Owing to an alteration in the date of the bridegroom’s leave the marriage arranged between Miss Josephine Pansy Whiting, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Whiting, 23 George-street, Higham Ferrers, and Driver Ronald Thomas Brown, youngest son of Mr. William Brown and the late Mrs. Brown, 44 Spencer-road, Rushden, took place on Wednesday at Wellingborough Register Office.

The bride wore a crushed strawberry two-piece of silk marocain with accessories to match and carried a bouquet.  After the wedding a reception was held at 23 George-street, Higham Ferrers.

The presents included a cheque and bed linen from the bridegroom's parents and cheques from the bride's parents.
