Rushden Echo, 29th July 1921, transcribed by Kay Collins
Mr. Fred Bollard

A Presentation was made this week to Mr. Fred Bollard, foreman for 32 years (lasting and press department) at Messrs. Sanders and Sanders’ factory, on the occasion of his leaving the firm. All the employees contributed to the gift, which was a handsome 15-jewelled lever watch, and all have expressed the pleasure it had been to work under Mr. Bollard and their keen respect at his departure after so long a period, during the whole of which time the greatest harmony and good feeling had prevailed amongst them. Mr. Fred Bollard wishes to express through our columns his cordial thanks to the employees of Messrs. Sanders and Sanders, for the splendid gift made to him this week, and more particularly for the many expressions of appreciation of good feelings towards him with which the presentation was accompanied.
