Rushden Echo, 3rd March 1916, transcribed by Kay Collins
Berrill – Chapman
The marriage took place on Saturday at the Park-road Baptist Church, Rushden, of Miss Alice Elizabeth Chapman, only daughter of Mr. Thomas Chapman, Court Estate, Rushden, and Mr. Arthur George Berrill, youngest son of Mr. Frederick J. Berrill, of Moor-road, Rushden. The Rev. C. J. Keeler officiated.

The bridesmaids (Miss Adah Berrill and Miss Nellie Croot) were daintily dressed in cornflower blue luminii, with blue hats trimmed with pink roses, and carried white sprays.

The bride, who was given away by her father, was prettily arrayed in white luminii with bridal veil and wreath, and carried a bouquet of white lilies and narcissus.

Mr. Frank Berrill, brother of the bridegroom, was best man.

A reception was held at the home of the bride.
