Rushden Echo, 25th September 1914, transcribed by Gill Hollis
Beeby - Freeman

The wedding took place on Saturday at St. Mary’s Church, Rushden, of Miss Annie Elizabeth Freeman, second daughter of Mrs. and the late Mr. Herbert Freeman, of Higham Ferrers, and Mr. Horace Sidney Beeby, second son of Mr. and Mrs. William Beeby, of Rushden. The Rector (Rev. P. E. Robson, M.A.) conducted the service. The bride, who was given away by Mr. Arthur Beeby, brother of the bridegroom, was suitably costumed in white satin, and wore a black hat with white trimming. She carried a bouquet of white asters and gypsophilia, the gift of the bridegroom. She was attended by one bridesmaid, Miss Hilda Beeby, sister of the bridegroom, who was dressed in pale blue satin, with a black hat trimmed with white. Miss Beeby carried a bouquet similar to that of the bride. A reception was subsequently held at the bridegroom’s home. There were many handsome and costly presents.
