Bayes - Stainbridge

Sapper Wilfred Bayes, of the Royal Engineers, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bayes, of Griffith-street, Rushden, was married recently at the Chapel-street Wesleyan Church, Luton, to Miss Lilian Rose Stainbridge, youngest daughter of Mr. Frederick Stainbridge, of Ampthill, Beds.  The Rev. B. Clegg officiated.  The bridesmaid was Miss Nellie Boddington, niece of the bride.  The wedding breakfast was partaken of at Messrs. Hill’s restaurant, Manchester-street, the guests including Sergt. Turley, from New Zealand, grandson of Mr. Jos. Bayes, formerly of Rushden.
