The wedding took place at Rushden Park Road Methodist Church on Thursday of Mr Thomas Watson, works manager of Rosebud Dolls, Ltd., Raunds, only son of the late Mr and Mrs A. T. Watson, and Miss Gweneth Elizabeth Clark, only daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Clark, 31 Carnegie Street, Rushden.

The service was conducted by the Rev N. P. Goldhawk, of Richmond College, and the Rev David Holwell (minister). The church was decorated with tulips, irises and narcissi.

The bride wore a blue wool lace dress and coatee over taffeta, and a matching blue hat trimmed with tulle. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and hyacinths.

She was attended by her cousin, Miss Ann Bettles, and a friend, Miss Patricia Tadman, both wearing mushroom grosgrain dresses and coatees, with matching feather hats and diamante necklaces. They carried bouquets of pink tulips and blue hyacinths.

Best man was Mr Jack Tudman, of Swindon.

The reception was held at the Park Road Methodist Hall, and afterwards Mr and Mrs Watson left for the South Coast.

On their return they will live at Clevedon, Knuston Spinney, Irchester.
