Nicholson - Cox

On Monday last at St. Mary's Church, Rushden, the wedding took place of Mr. Hugh Nicholson, son of Mr. Charles Nicholson, of Rushden, to Miss Beatrice Cox, daughter of Mr. Charles Cox, of Rushden. The Rev. E. W. Suart officiated.

The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Ernest Cox, wore a brown costume with hat to match.

The bridesmaids were Miss Maud Cox (sister of the bride), Miss Winnie Nicholson (sister of the bridegroom), Miss Brenda Nicholson (sister of the bridegroom), and Miss Lily Cox (sister of the bride), and two wore dresses of rose coloured eolienne with hats to match and the other two white muslin dresses trimmed with rose coloured eolienne and hats to match.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nicholson were the recipients of many presents.
