Rushden Echo & Argus, 28th July 1922, transcribed by Kay Collins
Lack-Chamberlain

Last Saturday, at the Park-road Baptist Church, Rushden, the Rev, J, A. Sutherland officiated at the marriage ceremony of Miss Frances May Chamberlain, eldest daughter of the late Mr. Charles Chamberlain, of 14, Rectory-road, Rushden, to Mr. Fred Lack, son of Mr. J. Lack, of 62, Moor-road, Rushden. The bride was attractively dressed in a brown coat-frock and brown hat with touches of blue to match. She wore a gold watch bracelet, given to her by the bridegroom. Given away by her step-father, Mr. E. East, she was attended by two bridesmaids—the bridegroom's sisters, Miss Dorothy Lack, who wore fawn crepe and black hat trimmed with blue, and Miss Gladys Lack, who wore a frock of lemon and white georgette and a lemon coloured hat trimmed with wreath of flowers. The "best man" was the bridegroom's brother, Mr. Robert Lack.

The reception was held at 14 Rectory-road, where the guests had the opportunity of admiring the beautiful presents.
