Banks - Sears
Whitsun. Wedding at Rushden

Considerable interest was manifested in the marriage of Mr. Alexander Banks and Miss Kate Annie Sears in the Parish church on Tuesday. The Rev. J. R. Blunt officiated. The bride, who wore a very pretty dress of moiré silk, trimmed with god and lace to match, was given away by her father. The bridesmaids were:- Miss E. Sears, dressed in royal blue with gold trimmings: Miss E. Cox, in silver grey, trimmed with white lace: Miss Mabel Banks, in cream, with hats to match. Mr. Arthur Banks acted as best man. After the ceremony, tea was provided at the home of the bride’s parents. Numerous useful and fancy presents were received from the friends of the bride and bridegroom.
