Reginald Brown
Scout and Cubmaster

Reg Brown’s Diamond Jubilee Party was held in St Mary’s Church Hall in 1976.

Born in 1909, Reg joined the scouts as a seven year old lad in 1916. He then became a leader and took over as a leader of the Cubs. He continued with the cubs until 1976.

He married Winifred (nee Taylor) in 1940, and they had two children.

Despite needing two walking sticks Reg continued as a scout leader until 1976.

He died in 1993 aged 84.
