Query Club Humour
Here are two bright items from the monthly bulletin of Rushden Query Motor Club.
1. We're doing our best to stage some grass-track racing on Whit-Monday, but so far the sub-committee in charge haven't been able to find a suitable field. Many farmers nowadays seem to have a curious preference for using their land for agricultural purposes.
2. We offer our heartiest congratulations to our dance secretary, Geoffrey Knight, on his recent election to the Rushden Urban District Council. It is pleasant to see our members taking an interest in these minor organisations.
