Plaque—The pavilion was rebuilt in 2015 and a plaque was added to commemorate Jim Osborne. He was well respected in town. He had helped form Rushden Sports Ltd to ensure protection for the football and cricket ground in Hayden Road.
Jim also ran a toys and sports equipment shop, and would restring rackets, or order any special items required. Jim had been a keen footballer in his youth, but injury forced him to stop.
