A New Cycling Club—There was a large attendance at a meeting at the Rose and Crown on Wednesday evening, when, under the presidency of Mr. E. Abbott, it was decided to form a cycling club for Rushden the names of the “Lightstrung Wheelers.” It was unanimously decided to invite Mr. George Denton, junr., to act as president; and the other officers were elected as follows:- Captain, Mr. Harry White; vice-captain, Mr. E. Pettit; bugler, Mr. David Tilley; committee, Messrs. J. Coward, Arthur Okins, Frank Sharp, Walter Blackman, and J. Whitney; treasurer, Mr. E. Abbott.—A large number signified their intention of becoming members.
