2nd Rushden St Mary's Cubs
Totem Pole

Totem top
The Wolf Cub on the pole
This Totem Pole was presented to the Cubs in 1938, and has ribbons for the four groups: blue, yellow, red and green, and cards with the names of members.
Other cards have those who gained their badges for work on various tasks. These must date from about 1948/50, as several names have been recognised from the 1950s Scout Camp pictures we have collected.

Most of the boys did the Collector badge, and several did the Artist badge, with just two or three enrolling for other badges.

Several went on to gain their Queen's Scout Awards.
