At their meeting at the Cosmopolitan Club, Rushden, on Monday night, Rushden Youth Council agreed to hold a Youth Week in Rushden later this year.
Although no details have as yet been finalised it is hoped to hold the week in early September.
The precise form of the week, whether community service or money-raising events for charity, has not been decided and the council would welcome suggestions from youth club members.
Also at the meeting arrangements for the Easter Monday sponsored walk were finalised.
It is hoped that as many of the young people of Rushden as possible will support this walk which is in aid of Rushden Mentally Handicapped Club, and the Physically Handicapped and Able Bodied Club of Northampton.
