Brownies Help—By making and selling lavender bags, toys and other articles, and running a competition for groceries given by Mrs. J. Eagle, Josephine Eagle (11), Jillian Eagle (9), and Madge Penness (9), Brownie of Rushden 2nd St. Mary’s, and Fiona Percival (9) “lent a hand” in true Brownie fashion to raise £2 for the Red Cross.
