After a day’s work it is time for recreation and here at John White’s Sports Ground, in this lovely evening weather, a team of workers employed by Totectors safety boot manufacturers meet a team of members of the Royal Air Force Association, matching their skills against one another in a game of bowls.

For Totectors are : Ben Snary, Bob Fuller, Tommy Furlong, Ron Gadsby, Charlie Durrant, Val and Jack Wright.

For the RAF Association are : Reg Jaques, Don Houghton, Percy Norman, and others unknown to me.
