Sweet Pea and Rose Show
Pretty Exhibition at Rushden — Helping the Crippled Children and the Blind

A sweet pea and rose show was held in the W.M.C., Rushden, on Saturday, when there was an excellent exhibition. Mr G H Emerton carried out the secretarial duties and the other officials were Messrs W Cox (chairman), W Wrighton (vice-chairman), and C F Farey (treasurer). Messrs W Clark and H Weedon were the judges, and the Flower Show Committee made the arrangements. In addition to the competing exhibits, there was a good collection of flowers and vegetables presented by members, and at the close of the show the articles were sold for the benefit of the Blind and Crippled Children’s Fund, as also were the competing exhibits. The exhibition was open on Saturday evening and on Sunday, and a large number of people attended. Awards:-
