DANCE—The Town String Band held a very successful dance at the Working Men's Club on Wednesday last, when a large number assembled. The band supplied the music, Mr. G. Foster acting as M.C.

The Annual Outing of the Town String Band took place on Saturday, Turvey being the place visited. After tea had been partaken of, Mr Giles, acting on behalf of the band, presented a silver-mounted baton to Mr F S Knight for his services to the band.
