In August 1954, the scouts were "delivered to camp" at Broadstone Warren, by an Arthur Spriggs lorry. The postcard show the view from the Log Hut and the camp bell.
Above is John Burton in his 1934 J2, taken from the lorry, as he follows it to the camp.
They had now acquired a marquee where they could assemble together if it rained.
