Hello Mr President |
|
|
|
Margaret, Christine, Paul, Pat, Melanie |
|
|
16 years ago the R.A.T.S. presented the Midland Premiere of ‘Oliver’. Now we are proud to present another premiere; the East Midland Premiere of ‘Annie’. There is a great similarity between Oliver and Annie in that both are orphans; ‘Oliver’ was a great success and we trust ‘Annie’ will be too.
Annie is based on the comic strip, Little Orphan Annie, creat4ed by Harold Gray. Annie runs away from an orphanage in New York to seek her Mom and Dad. She meets up with industrialists, stars and even the President before she finds happiness.
We are delighted to have Paul Aucott producing for us supported by Christine, Melanie, Pat and our usual stage crew, we are sure we are in for a great show.
Welcome to all of you, our patrons. Sit back and enjoy the adventures of Annie.

RATCHAT |
The R.A.T.S. were founded 23 years ago to provide theatrical activities and facilities for the people of Rushden and environs and to support charities, especially local ones.
Our main production each year is our annual pantomime at the Ritz at the beginning of January, but we also present shows whenever a suitable one is released.
We have an entertainments group who present variety shows, music halls and concerts to interested groups in the area.
Our youth group, ‘The New Experience’, present their own shows and concerts. They meet every Wednesday at Higham Ferrers Infants School.
We have just started a drama group whose first production will be in August. An opportunity for those interested to get in on the ground floor.
We are always looking for new enthusiastic members. So if you are between eleven and eleventy and would like to sing, dance or act we’re looking for you. If you would like to use your creative talents, making props, scenery or costumes we’re looking for you. If you would just like to be associated with the R.A.T.S. in some way, if it’s only making tea, we’re looking for you.
Interested? Contact Ben or Pat Catlin
