FRIEND IN NEED SOCIETY—On Saturday last the members of the Auxiliary Friend in Need Society met at the Coffee Tavern to receive the annual dividend, which this year amounted to 9s. 7d. per head. The balance-sheet for the year showed a total receipt of £109 19s. 10d. The sick pay amounted to £28 7s. 11d. The balance in the treasurer's hands, after paying dividend and sundry expenses, was £7 1s. |
