The Floats
Grenson's float
The Grenson float has a verse on the side panel:

Two pigeons flying high
Chinese vessel sailing by
Weeping Willow hanging o’er

Bridge with three men if not four
Chinese Temple here it stands
Seems to cover all the land
Apple tree with apples on
A pretty fence to end my song.
Toc H float: "Four Points of the Compass, Build Bravely, Witness Humbly" (white lines from the damage)
The Youth of Today float is being prepared in York Road. Behind is the sign of W Smart & Son - is it their float?
