The greater part of Lot 1, and the whole of Lots 14, 20, and 23 are Freehold, The greater part of Lot 1, and the whole of Lots 14, 20, and 23 are Freehold, the rest being Copyhold, held of the Manor of Rushden with the Members in the County of Northampton, but being in fine certain, are equal in value to Freehold.

The Land Tax and Quit Rents to which the Estates are liable will be duly apportioned.

N.B. The Vendor will allow part of the purchase money to remain on Mortgage if desired, by the respective Purchasers.

NOTE: The outer of this deed and the conditions of sale have been altered:-

Lot 10 and Beancroft Close containing 17 1 19, part of Lot 19

It is hereby declared and agreed by and between Thomas Williams of Dorchester in the County of Dorset Esquire the vendor of the Estate described and confirmed in the within mentioned particulars and Charles Hill of Wellingborough in the County of Northampton Esquire that the said Charles Hill has become the purchaser of Lot 10 and Beancroft Close containing 17a 1r 19p part of Lot 19 at the sum of Two Thousand and fifty pounds (including Timber) and that the within mentioned particulars and Conditions of Sale shall be taken as the terms of Agreement for the said sale and purchase respectively and be observed and fulfilled by the said Thomas Williams and the said Charles Hill respectively in all things. And it is also agreed that the right of road now used by the Tenants of the Land hereby agreed to be sold over the eleven acre Close remaining part of Lot 19 sold to Mr. Burnham is to be done away with and discontinued, and the Gateway leading out of the said Eleven acres Close into the said Beancroft Close is to be quicked up by and at the costs and charges of the said Charles Hill. As Witness the hands of the said Thomas Williams and Charles Hill the Fifth day of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and thirty eight.
