July 8th 1914 - George Eady Robinson of Higham Ferrers took on the tenancy from Mary Elizabeth Smith of 23 High Street South, Rushden.
It was 69 acres 3 roods 32 poles with house, barns, stables, stock yards and other buildings, at rent of £75 per year.
In 1931 the tenancy was transferred from Mr H E Robinson to Mr R Baker, and an inventory of the hay, straw, and growing crops was assessed at £15 18s 9d.
In 1948 Miss F M Baker had title to Lodge Farm, and she was selling it to Mr G F J Baker in 1956, when he applied for a mortgage. George reared cattle, buying in calves for fattening.
In April 1956 Mr G Baker, of 23 High Street South, had plans drawn up for a bungalow at Lodge Farm. A boiler house, ground works and services would be by D J Rawlings, builder, of 17 Blinco Road. The bungalow was to be built by Mr R W Windsor, of Newton Road.

The Quote for the building was £2,145 and was completed in Feb 1957 when additional items added another £174 12s 6d. to the cost.
In Dec 1956 D J Rawlings also erected a barn at the farm, for £570.
In 1976 Mr George Baker had a letter from the Duchy of Lancaster Office, regarding the boundary fencing. [The Duchy owns Rectory Farm, the adjoining property.]
In 1982 Manor Farm in Bedford Road was selling off land bordering Newton Road, and opposite Lodge Farm, for building.
