Plaque at Rushden Hall
25th Anniversary of Rushden & District History Society
Clive Wood unveiling the plaque On Saturday 21st May 2016, a plaque depicting the history of Rushden Hall, was erected by Rushden & District History Society to celebrate its 25th Anniversary. Society member Clive Wood unveiled the plaque in front of Rushden Hall.

Clive had been interested in the hall since he was a teenager, and with the late Arthur George, he had been instrumental in the 1960s fight to save the Hall.

Geoff Wiggins (chairman) gave brief details before inviting Clive to unveil the plaque. Afterwards about 60 society members, and invited guests, enjoyed tea and cake in the Hall.
