Blue Plaque unveiled 2012
On a very cold morning, 27th October 2012, several members of Rushden and District History Society gathered, with members of Jack Harrison's family for the unveiling of a Blue Plaque to honour his achivevements in boxing.

The plaque is on the corner property of West Street/High Street, and after a brief history of Jack's life and boxing career, read out by Theresa Clark (chair of the History Society), it was unveiled by two of Jack's great granddaughters.

After the uneviling everyone adjourned for coffee and cakes served by members of the Wesleyan Chapel in their church hall, close by in Queen Street.
