Appointment—At Wellingborough Police Court on Friday last Mr. William George Holt was appointed Parish Constable for Higham Park, the “list” having been presented by Mr. R. Tusting, of Rushden, The Magistrates’ Clerk (Major F J Simpson) said he believed that Mr. Holt was the only eligible resident. Supt. Macleod said that Mr. Holt would have to look after himself!
