Rushden Lad, Arthur Cox (pictured), who lives in Ealing-terrace, Washbrook-road, saved the life of a companion, Ted Hillson, when bathing in Back Brooks, Ditchford, near Rushden. The plucky rescuer dived in and dragged out the other boy, who had been seized with cramp, by the hair. Cox is 16 years-of-age, and was until a short time ago employed in delivering the “Evening Telegraph” at Rushden.
