This Day Centre, which is a joint funded effort by the County Council and the Health Authority, opened its doors during the year.  Members of the CHC are still unconvinced as to its necessity and, especially when money is so restricted.  The CHC feel that with the established Day Hospital and the various Day Centres already operating by Voluntary bodies, this particular unit need not have been established.  To the time of going to press it is still not operating to its full potential.
