William Woolston - 1603 Will

Testamentu[m] Willi[a]m Woolston de Rusden defunct

In the name of god Amen the xxvij daye of December in A Dom 1602 I Wm Woolston of Rushden in the countye of North’ton husbandman beinge sicke in bodye by the visitacon of god but yet in good and p[er]fect memory god be praysed therefore do make and ordeine this my testamen[t] wherein ys conteined my last will in maner and forme following (et & c) F[er]rste I give and bequeath my soule into the hands of almightie god my hevenly father & c. Item I give to Wm Woolston the sonn of Thomas Woolston one old cupboard two coffers one blacke calfe one ewe & a lambe Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Woolston the son of Thomas Woolston one pyed heckfer one coffer one ewe & a lambe Item I give and bequeathe to John Woolston the son of Thomas Woolston one red calfe and one ewe and a lambe Item I give and bequeathe to Alice the daughter of Thomas Woolston all the lynnen in the great coffer to be paid to them at the discretion of myne executor Item all ye rest of my goods and chattels unbequeathed I give and bequeathe to Thomas Woolston my sonne whom I make my whole executor of this my last will to see my debts paid and all other funerall expense discharged Item I give and bequeathe to my son Thomas Woolston all my freeholde meddowe in Ringsted meddowe & Raunds meddowe and to his  heires for ever.
