Will of John WOLLASTON, dated 23rd of Nov 1737

In the Name of God Amen. the Twenty third of November in ye yeare or our Lord 1737 I John WOLLASTON of Rushden in the County of Northampton Taylor being of Sound Mind & Memory thanks be to God Do make & ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner & form following. Imprimis Whereas I have made a Surrender unto the Use of this my last Will and Testament Whereby I have Surrendered into ye hands of ye Lord of the Mannor of Rushden by ye hands of  Thomas BLETSOE & Thomas MALLERY two other Customary Tenants of ye sd Manor All that My third part of a Cottage or Tenement with a little Garden Plot Adjoyning with ye Appurt: Lying & being in ye North end of Rushden Robert SHARWOOD on ye South and Thomas MEE on ye North & West part whereof : My Mind and Will is that the sd part of a Cottage so Surrendered with ye little Garden Plot shall be to ye Use and behoofe of my Beloved Wife Hannah WOLLASTON {four undeciphered words written above] and of her Heirs & Assigns for ever According to ye Customs of ye sd Mannor Item I do also give & bequeath unto my Beloved Wife Hannah WOLLASTON whom I make Sole Execturix of this my last Will & Testament All & Singular my whole Personal Estate my Shop Books and Shop Goods together with all my moveable Household Goods & Chattels whatsoever by her freely to be enjoyed She paying my just Debts and I do hereby Ratifie & Confirm this to be my last Will & Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my Hand & Seal the Day & Year above written And Appoint Thomas MALLERY & Thomas BLETSOE Trustees
