Thomas Wapples - Will 1720

In the Name of God Amen the fifthteenth Day of December one Thousand seven Hundred and Eighteen I Tho: Wapples of Rushden in the County of Northton shepherd being in health of Body and of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God for the same do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following

Impr’is I give to my well beloved wife Eliz: Wapples all my freehold and Bond hold land lying dispersedly in the fields of Rushden with all and every of their appurtenances thereunto belonging and all those my nine Draughts of Medowing lying and being in the Medow of Rushden aforesaid During her Natural life and after her Decease, then to my son Thos Wapples and his heirs and Assigns for ever in consideration that he shall pay to my Daughter Eliz: Wapples the sum of Ten pounds out of the said land and medowing within one years after he is in possession of the said land and medowing

Item All the rest of my real and personal Estate I give to my well beloved Wife Elizabeth Wapples whom I make and appoint to be sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament and I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disannul all other Testaments and Wills by me in any ways before made Confirming this and no other to be my last Will & Testament In Wittness whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal ye Day & year above written

Item I appoint Mr Lettice Clerk to be overseer of this my last Will desiring that he would see yt all things be done as I have here appointed
