Richard Walters 1634

In the name of god amen The vjth (6th) day of January 1634 I Richard Walters of Rushden in the county of North husbandman being sicke of body but of a good and perfect memory praysed be god therefor do make and ordayne my will contayning therin my last testament in manner and fourme following first I bequeath my soule to Allmighty god my creator and Jesus Chryst my redemer and my body to be buryed within the Churchyard of Rushden.
Item I give to the poore of Rushden xxs to be payd by my Executors at the day of my buriall Item I give to my kinswoman Mary Ingrum xls to be payd unto hir by my Executors within on yeare after my decease and two Ewe sheep Item I give to my kinswoman Lydia Ingrum xxs and two Ewe sheep to be payd and delivered unto hir within on yeare after my decease.
Item I give to my sone Thomas my three horses carts and cart geares plowes an plow geares the hovell of pease next to the Layne ten bushells of old peasse five quarters of barley the hay and peasse that is within the peasse barne and the wheat that is sowen and six of my best sheepe.
Item I give to my daughter Alse two of my beasse and on great brasse pan Item I give to my daughter Jese Walters x£ which I have in the house and my two blacke beasse and with on Cubard in the hall on great chest in the parlor sixe payre of sheets xij table napkins two boards cloathes and all the brasse but on great pan the bed in the parlor the fetherbed the best coverlet with the furniture belonging to the bed.
Item all the rest of my goods and Chatels unbequeathed both within doores and without my debts and funerall discharged I give to my two daughters Alse and Jese Walford whom I make my Executors of this my last will.
