I John Steveyn of Rushden in gude mynd make my testament in this manner
fyrste I bequeath my soule to god my body to be buryed in the chyrche of Rushden
Also I bequeath for my principall my beste gude after the custome of the town
Item I gyff to the mother churche of Lincoln vj d Also I gyff to thygh awter* of
Rushden xx d to the bellys xl d to our lady light xij d to the torchye viij d
Also I gyff to M[ar]get my wyfe my pl__e land & medowe lyinge within the bownds
of Rushden aforesayde with all the other redydue of my gods and after the d(eth)
of my sayde wyfe M[ar]gett I wyll the foresayde pl(ace) be solde & done for the ___
