This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Stevens of Rushden in the County of Northampton Spinster Whereby I dispose of my personal Estate and Effects as follows (that is to say) First I direct that all my Just Debts funerall and Testamentary expenses shall be fully paid and satisfied by my Executors hereinafter named I Give and Bequeath unto my cousin Rebecca Mee wife of Thomas Mee the sum of Ten Pounds to be paid to her within twelve calendar months of my Decease I Give and Bequeath to my cousin Rebecca Mee the Daughter of the said Rebecca Mee my Time Piece. All the rest residue and remainder of my Personal Estate Goods Household Goods Plate Linen ready money securities for money wearing Apparel and Effects whatsoever and wheresoever of what sort nature and kind soever the same may be or consist of at the time of my Decease I Give and Bequeath all the same unto my sisiter Ann Hewitt widow and my Niece Sophia Bolton wife of William Bolton to be Equally Divided Between them share and share alike and I Give the said share of my Effects unto my said Neice Sophia Bolton for her own sole separate use and Benefit not withstanding her coverture nor shall the same or any part thereof be subject to the engagements Debts Controul or demand of her present Husband the said William Bolton but that her receipt alone shall be a full and sufficient Discharge for the same And I do hereby nominate constitute make and appoint the said Ann Hewitt and Sophia Bolton Executors of and to this my last Will and Testament And I do declare this present writing and none other to be and contain my last Will and Testament In Witness whereof I the said Mary Stevens have to this my Will contained on this one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this nineth Day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty one.
