Mary Stevens – will 1812

This is the last Will and Testament of me Mary Stevens of Rushden in the County of Northampton Spinster First I give and bequeath unto Mrs Elizabeth Lloyd and Mrs Susanna Edwards Twenty Pounds each of principal money And the residue of any Money Goods Chattels and personal Estate I give and bequeath one third part thereof to the Children of my late Brother Robert Stevens that shall be living at the time of my decease share and share alike Also I give and bequeath one other third part thereof to the Children of my late Brother Jonathan Stevens that shall be living at the time of my decease share and share alike And I give and bequeath the remaining third part of my property to my Brother John Stevens But in case he shall die in my life then my Will is that that third part of my property shall be equally divided among his Children that shall be living at the time of my decease And lastly I do nominate and appoint Jeff Woodham of Sharnbrook and Thomas Mee of Yeilding Joint Executors of this my last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Seventeenth day of December in the year of our Lord Christ One Thousand eight Hundred and two

On the eighth day of February 1812 Jeffery Woodham and Thomas Mee the Executors named in the within Will were then sworn, well and faithfully to fulfil the same according to Law, and that the Goods, Chattels, and Credits of the within named Deceased, do not amount in value to the sum of four hundred and fifty pounds,
