In the name of god Amen the thirtieth daye of Januarie in Anno Dni 1602 I Thomas Sannders of Rushden in the countie of North’ton husbandman being sicke in bodye by the visitation of god but yet in good and perfect remembrance God be praysed therefore do make & ordeine this my testament wherin ys conteined my laste will in manner and forme followinge: First I give & bequeathe my soule into thje hands of Allmightie god my heavenly father etc Item I give & bequeathe to my daughter Marye Sannders xx markes of good and Lawfull money of England in money or money worth to be valued and praysed by two honest men & to be paid unto her at the daye of the marriage Item I give and bequeathe to my son Peter Sannders five pounds of lawfull englishe money to the value of five pounds in money worth and one Cowe besyds to be praysed at the discretion of two men & to be paid to the said Peter within one yeare after the expiration of his prentisshippe And I give and bequeathe to Wm Sannders my sonn the value of five pounds in money or money worth to be paid him when he shall accomplyshe & come to the full Age of twentie and five yeares further my will ys that yf my sonne Peter departe this world before he have receyved his Legasye Then the same Legasye shall remaine whollye to my sonne William And also my will ys that yf my sonne Wm dye before he have receyved his Legasye Then the same Legasie shall remaine whollye to my sonne Peter Item I give and bequeathe to my daughter Elizabeth the worth of five pounds to be praysed ar the discretion of two indifferent men and to be paid her at the daie of her maryage Item I give & bequeathe to my sonne Thomas Sanders in money or money worth the value of five pounds to be paid him at the discretion of myne Executrixe Item I give and bequeathe to Henrye Freeman & Johan Freeman the children of Francis Freeman eyther of them an Ewe sheepe of the middle sort to be paid or delivered unto them within one yeare after my decease Item I give & bequeathe to Anne Maxe the daughter of John Maxe one Ewe sheepe to be given her within two yeares after my departure Item I give & bequeathe to my sonne John Sannders my beste dublett & so much tymber as will serve for the making of a Cheste for him & to be given him presently after my decease Item All the reste of my goods & Chattells unbequeathed bothe moveable and unmoveable I give & bequeathe to Katheryne my wife whom I make my whole executrix of this my laste will & Testament to see my debts paid & other expences discharged & all other wills I utterly revoke and will that this shall stand and none other nor otherwise
