James Saby - will 1709

In the name of God Amen the 9th Day of December 1708 I James Saby of Rushden in the County of Northton Butcher being very ... but of perfect mind & memory Thanks be given to God bring to Mind the Mortality of my Body, do Make & Ordain my Will and Testament that I say Principally & first of all I give my Soul into the Hands of God that gave it, and my Body to ye Earth to be Decently Buried in Christian Burial at discretion of my Executrix And as touching such Woldly Estate that hath pleased God to Bless me in this Life I give & demise in ye following manner and form

I give and bequeath unto Mary My Dearly Beloved Wife Whom I likewise constitute make and ordain my sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament all and singular My Household goods Implements what ever and of all my debts & moneys Bills Bonds what ever to me belongeth to have them after my decease during her natural life & after her decease to my welbeloved daughter Mary Saby And I do hereby utterly disallow revoke and disanull all and every other former Testament Wills legacies and Bequests and Executors by me any way before named willed and Bequested, Ratif[y]ing and Confirming this and no other to be my last Will and Testament In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal the Thirteenth Day of December In the Eighth year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lady Ann by the Grace of God over Great Britain France & Ireland Queen Defender of ye faith &c: And in the year of our Lord Christ 1708
