I Margaret Redshawe of Rusdene make this my last will as following. I bequeath to William Margetts my son … caudron of bees, (two pewter platters) a bulster my best candlestick … I bequeath to Harye my son my best brass pan … and off my great hymnell my best (lattyn basin) … I give to Rychard my sone my best brass pan …. of flax and sheets in a har … To Dorythe my daughter the wife of William my son … and a little possytt. To Thomas Margetts the son of William Margetts … to either of my sons William daughters Margaret a flaxon sheet and … Margetts the wife of Rychard my son my great cawthre… the son of Rychard six shillings 8 pence. The residue of my goods I bequeath to William Margetts, Richard Margetts, Harye Margetts … whom I do make my faithful executors of this my last will. I will that Mr Robert Pemyrton gentleman of Ruston (shall be overseer) of my last will to be performed for the health of my soule and all Christian souls and also I do (revoke) and forsake all other wills and testaments … and now do ordain this to be my last will and testament witness (John Smyth), Robert Sawndys, William Gudwyn, John Clarke with others.
