Josiah Parker 1856

This is the last will and testament of me Josiah Parker of Rushden in the County of Northampton Grocer I give and bequeath all and every my shares in the Northamptonshire Union Bank unto my dear Wife Mary Parker absolutely I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Ann Goodman Parker a legacy of Three hundred Pounds and direct that the same shall be paid to her at the expiration of three calendar months next after my decease I bequeath the residue of my personal estate after payment of my debts funeral and testamentary expenses unto my Son Josiah William Parker absolutely I appoint my friends John Radburne of Rushden aforesaid Draper and James Sargent Darnell of Rushden aforesaid Butcher Executors of this my will I revoke all former wills and declare this to be and contain my last will and testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this thirtieth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six
