Alice Packe - will 1610

In the name of god Amen the Fourth daie of September in Anno dni 1610 I Alice Packe of Rushden in the Countie of Northampton widow being sick in bodie by the visitation of god but whole in mynde god be praised therefore doe make and ordaine this my testament wherein is contained my last will in manner and forme following First I give and bequeath my soule into the handes of almightie god my Creator and my bodie to be buried in the churchyard of Rushden aforesaid Item I give and bequeath to my sonne William Packe one black Cowe one Cubbord the biggest brasse panne the least brass pott and the best lynnen Wheele the myddle Coffer and one bedstead all to be delivered unto him ymediatelie after my decease Item I give and bequeath to Edward Packe my sonne one redd bullock of two yeares old one trusse bedd one redd Coffer the biggest kettle one bedstead and the frying panne to be delivered to him presentlie after my departure Item I give and bequeath to Thomas Packe my sonne one yeareling bullock the biggest kettle soe one the brasse pott one table with the frame and the forme the bolting Coffer one bedstead and the penn to be delivered unto him in like manner aforesaid Item all the rest of my goodes debts and Chattells I give and bequeath to my three sonnes aforesaid to be equalie devided betwixt them Further my Will is that William Packe my sonne shalbe my Executor to see my debts paied and all other funeral expences discharged and will that this will shall stande and non other nor otherwise Witnesses to the same Richard Gurry and Christopher Gurry
