Elizabeth Mott 1746

This is the Last Will and testament of Me Elizabeth Mott of Rushden in the County of North[amp]ton ye widow and Executrix of John Mott late of Rushden aforesaid yeoman deceased and I do hereby revoke all or any other or former will or wills by me at any time or timeshertofore made And do Declare this to be my last Will & Testament in manner and form following and in Pursuance of if Special Trust and Confidence reposed in me by my said deceased Husband John Mott in and by his last Will and Testament thereby directing me to dispose of what he thereby gave unto me amongst my Children in such proportion as I should think fit and according to their Dutiful Behaviour to me and his further mind and will was that in case either of his Children should Die such Share as his wife should out of his personal Estate bequeathed and go to the use and behoof of such Child or Children as should be then Living therefore I thesaid Elizabeth Mott do order give devise and bequeath in Manner and form following That is to Say First of all I give and bequeath ye Summ of Fourscore pounds principal Money out at Interest or Security from Henry Harbert of Rushden aforesaid and Robert Bailey of Rushden aforesaid Item I give unto my grand Daughter Eliz: Mott ye daughter of Robt Mott of St Brides Parish London the sum of ten pounds when she shall come to and attain of Age of Twenty one years or at her day of Marriage and in case my Grand daughter Eliz Mott shall happen to die before she shall arrive to ye Age of Twenty one years or day of Marriage then and im[m]ediately after her decease her share part or portion of the s[ai]d fourscore pounds with what Interest shall or may happen to be due I do give unto her Father Robt Mott Item I do give and bequeath unto my Grand Son John Mott son of Richard Mott of Over Dean in the County of Bedford the sum of ten pounds when he shall come to or attain the Age of twenty one years and in case he shall happen to die before he arrive to his Age of Twenty one years then and immediately after his decease his share part or portion of the Fourscore pounds with interest yt shall or may happen to be his due I do give and bequeath unto his father Richard Mott Item I do give and bequeath unto my Grand daughter Eliz mott daughter of Robt Mott the biggest fir deal box* and all the things locked up in it Item I do give and bequeath unto my Grand daughter Elizabeth Mee all the rest of my Household Goods or furniture Item all the rest of my Estate whatsoever and wheresoever whether real or personal (not by me herein before Disposed of) I give devise and bequeath unto my two sons Robert Mott & Richard Mott and Elizabeth Mee my Grand daughter whom I make joynt Executors and Executrix of this my last will and Testament Item my mind and will is in case Eliz Mee my Grand daughter shall happen to die before her arrival to the Age of Twenty one years or day of Marriage In such Case I give and bequeath her share part or portion of ye s[ai]d fourscore pounds with what Interest shall or may happen to be her due at the time of her Decease unto my two sons Robert and Richard Mott Equally to be divided between them Share and Share alike And also my Houshold goods which I have given and bequeathed unto her I would have them Equally divided between my two s[ai]d Sons Robt & Richard Mott share and share alike And I make my Son in Law Francis Mee Overseer of this my Will to take Care and see the same performed according to my true Intent and meaning and for his pains I give him one Guinea In Witness whereof I have here unto Sete my Hand and Seal this twelth day of February in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven Hundred fourty and two
