John Martin - 1573 will

In the name of god amen the
xviij th daye of December in the yere of our lord
God 1572 I John Martin of Rushden in the
countie of Northampton husbandman beinge sycke
in bodye by the visitacon of god yet in perfecte
memorye god be praysed therefore do make
this my last will in forme following first I
commend my soule to allmightie god and his sonne
Jesus Christ by whom I hope assured lye to
be saved & to have forgyvnes of all my synnes.
Item I gyve & bequethe to Margaret Martyn
my eldeset doughter one cowe & a cupboard
& a table & a forme standing in the halle &
tow bussett stooles one payre of sheths of tere
of hempe towe pewter dyshes one greate
coffer that came from H(ougton) and tow shepe
and one brasse panne that came from Houghton
this to be delivered unto the foresaid Margaret
at the age of xviij yeres. Item I gyve to Jane
Marten my doughter one cowe a table a forme one payre
of sheets of tere of hempe tow pewter dyshes
one coffer the beste so one a brasse panne
of thre gallands a stoole tow shipe This to
be delivered unto the sayd Jane at the age of
xviij yeres. Item I will that when Margaret
Martin my daughter dothe enter of the farme
after the decease of her mother shall gyve unto
Jane her syster vj quarters of barley that is
to saye every yere one quarter for the space of
vj yeres. Item I will that yf anye of my owne
daughers chaunce to dye before she be of age
to make will then the other syster to  have the legacie
with increase thereof. Item I gyve to Annys
Lancerburne a table and a kettle of three gallonds.
Item to Elizabeth Lancborne one brasse pott of
towe gallinds. Item to Jone Lanceborne one
kettle of tow gallans. Item I will that when
my wifes daughters Annys Lannceborne Jone
Lanceborne and Elizabeth Lanceborne shall
enter of the coppye hold land to have (it sown)
readie to there hand with shuche kind of grayns
as the filde dothe (have) for that yere. Item I geve
to Ales Abraham the daughter of Frauncis Abraham
halfe a quarter of barley. The residwe of my goods
unbequethed my debtes payd & funeral expenses
discharged I gyve & bequethe to Elizabethe my
wife whom I make my holl exectutrix hereof
and of the execution thereof I make my trustie f(riends)
Willm Margets & Edmund Tappe my oversears
& I give to eyther of them for there paynes therein
to be taken xx d and I revoke all former wills and
I will that this shall stand for my last will & nonother
nor otherwise In witness whereof to this p___ I
have sett my hand & seale the daye  & yere above
written thes beinge witnesses to the same
