Mary Malory - will 1714

In the Name of God Amen the Twenty second day of June in ye year of our Lord 1714 I Mary Malory of Rushden in ye County of Northampton widdo being of perfect mind and memory thanks be to God but calling to mind ye weakening of my body do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in ye manner & form following:

Imprimis I give and bequeath to my cosen Thos Stanton of London ye elder the sum of five pounds of good & lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid within six months following my decease Item I give & bequeath to my Cosen Tho Stanton the son of Thomas Stanton aforesaid All that my Cottage or Tenement with the appurtenances lying & being in Rushden Tho Groom on ye South & ye ground off Will Beys on ye North part thereof to the use & behoof of ye said Thomas Stanton & his heirs & Assigns for ever with this proviso or condition that ye said Tho Stanton his heirs Executors Administrators of Assigns do & shall pay or cause to be paid unto my Cosen Mary Stanton daughter of James Stanton of London Cornchandler late deceased the sum of Ten pounds of good & lawfull money at the time of ye taking up of ye said Cottage but if default be made of ye payment of ye said sum of ten pounds or any part thereof so ye said Mary Stanton her heirs Executors Administrators or Assigns then ye said Cottage shall be to ye use of ye said Mary Stanton & her heirs & Assigns for ever Item I give & bequeath to my said Cosen Mary Stanton the sum of Ten pounds more of good & lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid by my Executor hereafter named within six months after my decease Item I give & bequeath to my Cosen Mary Stanton of London widdo the sum of five pounds of good & lawfull money Item I give & bequeath to my … John Gobby of Rushden ye elder the sum of Thirty pounds of good & lawfull money of Great Brittain to be paid within six months after my decease Item I give & bequeath to my Cosen John Malory of [Rus] in ye county of Northampton the sum of Twenty s..… Item I give to my Cosen Mary Darnill ye wife of Henry Darnill of Rushden the sum of Twenty shillings Item I give to my Cosen Elizabeth Mason of Sharnbrook in ye County of Bedford ye sum of twenty shillings Item I give to my Cosen M.. Smith of Soldrop in ye county of Bedford widdo ye sum of Twenty shillings Item I give to my Cosen Elizabeth Shefeild of Sharnbrook in ye county of Bedford ye wife of Thos Shefeild ye sum of Twenty shillings Item I give to my Cosen John …. Elizabeth Brown the sum of Ten shillings all which legacies shall be payd within six months after my decease Item I give & bequeath to my Cosen Moses Gobby of Rushden whome I likewise constitute and make only and sole Executor of this my last will & Testament All & singular my whole personall Estate together with all my Household goods & Chattels by him freely to be possessed and enjoyed after my just debts & funrall charge is paid and I do here by utterly revoke and disannul all & every other former will & Testament by me made before this time named Ratifying & confirming this & no other to be my last will & Testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the day & year above written
